Pleasures of this world is a lie

We are all striving; striving to achieve our goals, dreams and desires; working hard to beautify our souls for the people of this world. For this world we live and die and love; and that this world is a lie, which we neglect.

We close our eyes to the truth, the reality. Somewhere deep down in us we know, we know we are erroneous. But we try to become flawless and perfect.

Sadly, we are constructing our inner soul to adjust ourselves in this constantly evolving world. We try to be in-line with all the latest trends of this decisive world. For most of us, the only concern is to equate ourselves among the wealthiest, famed and the charmers.

We’ve forgotten our only purpose for which we were descended down from the skies to the soil. It seems like at every step, this purpose is fading away from our soul. Our purpose as beings is to worship Allah swt at every breath, at every step. But this doesn’t seem to be the case now.

The purpose of our existence is becoming a history and a mystery in some cases. The main reason for our existence is eroding.

Who to blame for this erosion? Media? Glamour?  Status? Wealth? And the list continues…

Well, not really. It’s ‘us’ who are to blamed for the fuss. We are driven by the endless evolutions, which are taking place in this contemporary world. And we KNOW that we are getting driven by such factors but still shut our eyes and keep welcoming the lies from our hearts. It’s a strange human psyche.

The evil is within us. It’s on a voyage to seal our hearts to realize the purpose of our being. In fact, we do know that we’re on the wrong track but still unwilling to admit it. Nobody can stop this evil from spreading across our soul. But the only thing that can possibly make this happen is ‘you’. Yes. It’s you who can fight off this evil and purify your soul.

This fight is not a normal one. It requires an immense patience and content. For that, you need to draw a broad line between right and wrong. You need to be yourself. What this mean is that, you were sent down alone and will be taken back alone. Thence, living in this world implies that you need to be ‘alone’. That is, your identity as a being should be individualistic and entirely unique. Transforming yourself to fit in the paradigms of this decisive world will take you nowhere but will result in making you into a person who you should not be. Unfortunately, this snatches your attention away from your sole purpose of existence.
Allah knows the evil lies within us. Hence, we should strive to transform and beautify our souls for Allah swt rather than for the people of this decisive world.

Surah At-Taghabun, verse 4
“He knows what is within the heavens and earth and knows what you conceal and what you declare. And Allah is Knowing of that within the breasts.”

We ask, we get & we are unthankful

Have you ever wondered how unthankful and greedy we folks are? We ask for so much that we tend to dispose of half of those blessings just because they don’t fit into our greedy, over-loaded hands. This shows the level of our disrespect and ingratitude towards our Lord. We feed ourselves with things more than we need. This is how our today’s Ummah is. We ask, we get and we are unthankful.

To begin with, life is not the same for everyone. Its concepts and genres may vary from every person. But the only similarity is that, Akhirah waits for all. There is no exception for anybody in this case. Our life teaches us so much, either intentionally or unintentionally. It’s as though, every new day brings a new experience in your life. Your experiences could depend on the new people you encounter, new things you learn in society or even a simple long drive with someone special is counted as an experience. These experiences depend on how we perceive the world and our surroundings. Mostly people may acquire them either positively or negatively. However, the best thing to remember about them is that; make every moment of them worth spending and remembering! Try to do every special thing you can to beautify them as you are unaware of your last second on this planet. Moreover, cherish every next experience of your life with full of gratitude and thankfulness as you have made through it this much!

Problems? Miseries? Troubles? Difficulties? Regrets? Agonies? Hitches? At times, these are the phrases that clearly describe your life. Isn’t? And weren’t you thankful to be blessed with them? Well, I may sound cracked to you as I am asking you to be grateful towards your depressing moments but, trust me, you should be. The matter of fact is these miseries are from Allah. He puts you in these problems, guides you through them and makes you realize what you really are and what your status is as being a part of this human race. These problems are nothing but trials from your Lord. He tests you every now and then. The reason He puts you into such trials is because He wants to see how you will react after getting knocked down. He wants to see how His beloved servant turns towards Him during his time of need and how much he cries during his sajdah and ask for help and guidance from His Lord. This is what Allah’s objective is when He puts us through trials.

Now that we know what is expected of us, we should always strive to meet His expectations and try to be one of His best servants, In Sha Allah!

Why is it different to be a covered pearl?

‘The veil that fastens the smile across the face and enriches the soul with abundant rewards; what more  a Muslimah would ask for if she is under the shade of her Lord’  - Me

It’s strange how a single head covering transforms a Muslimah. And this transformation does not only take place from outside, that is, her appearance rather it is within. It’s that beautiful touch she starts to sense deep down her heart, which makes her feel as the most precious being alive in this wide world. Masha’Allah.

Hijab is not only the covering of the head but it is of the heart as well. It dip’s a woman’s heart and soul into the streams of respect and purity. It’s the hijab that motivates her to lower her gaze in front of the world and still manage to hold a firm identity.

Hijab is synonymous to a beautiful way of presenting a precious Muslimah. It hides her from the horrifying world out there and makes her confident enough to stand out among a bunch of others.

Hijab brings the Muslimah closer to her Lord. She starts to experience spiritual transformation, which keeps her getting attracted to her beautiful deen. Masha’Allah!

Let’s just give a try to become a practicing hijabi In Sha Allah!

Practicing Muslimahs are like covered pearls in Islam, Masha'Allah.
